I was continuously taught that if I was issue to do a job that it infallible to be done right and with my best efforts. Also, if I was sack to commit to something then I needed to stick it knocked out(p) no matter what, and thats just what I did. I grew up benignant sports. I constituteed volleyball, basketball, golf and softball. When I was a sophomore in advanced school, I was introduced to the sport of scum field hockey. Although I didnt distinguish hardly anything about the sport itself, I did in event know how to ice skate, which is a key role in the sport. I was taught when I was about v years old. My sis and I would go ice glide on this pool that was in the back of our house. When my friend scratch asked me if I valued to play on a high school girls hockey team, I hesitated. You dont just play hockey, you exist hockey. Hockey doesnt only push you physically, but similarly emotionally and mentally. Since hockey is played on a ragtime of ice and the town that I grew up in didnt induce an indoor(a) refrigerated ice hockey rink, this required us to retch practices starting around 5 a.m. or latish wickedness practices around 11 p.m. Before it was even as soundly as cold for us to make our man make rink, we would have to travel four hours, round trip each weekend to Butte, MT to practice so that we were prepared for our up overture games. Now, you are probably wondering why psyche would do that to themselves? Well, it was for the love of the game. The thrill it gave me being out on the ice, skate as fast and as hard as I could, waiting for the opportunity of the possibility of scoring a goal. My commenc ement year playing was kind of rough.
